The Civil Service Commission Regional Office VI (CSC RO VI) will hold the seventh (7th) Regional Congress of Human Resource Management Practitioners (HRMPs) on October 4-5, 2018 at Diversion 21 Hotel, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.


HR practitioners, advocates, and CSC officials will gather to exchange ideas, strategies and approaches relevant to the practice of HR. The said event is a collaborative effort of the CSC RO VI  and the Councils of HRMPs in region 6. The theme of the Regional Congress is “Strategic HR: Achieving Breakthrough Results Through PRIME-HRM” which highlights the success stories and breakthrough results in the implementation of the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM), particularly achieving Maturity Level II. It will showcase best practices on the four core HR Systems of Recruitment, Selection and Placement (RSP); Learning and Development (L&D); Performance Management (PM); and Rewards and Recognition (R&R) which will serve as benchmark for HR practitioners in achieving higher maturity level under the Program.

CSC Chairperson Alicia dela Rosa-Bala will grace the event and serve as Keynote Speaker. Among the topics to be discussed during the two-day Congress are updates on the PRIME-HRM, Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, 2017 Omnibus Rules on Appointments and Other HR Actions (ORAOHRA), Employee Engagement, and Unleashing Work and Life. Representatives from selected government agencies and offices will also share their best practices on the four Core HR Systems.
